Obituary of Linda A. Kellogg

Linda A. Kellogg, 68, passed away July 4, 2013 in Olympia, Washington, surrounded by her family. She was born April 10, 1945 in Centralia, Washington to Syd Herbert Gratton, Jr. and Norene Edith (Dooms) Gratton. Linda graduated from Centralia High School and attended Centralia Community College. She married the love of her life, Gary D. Kellogg, at Centralia Methodist Church on August 26, 1965. She worked for The Evergreen State College, retiring in 2003 after 30 years of service. Linda enjoyed quilting, flower gardening, racquetball, pickleball, reading, and playing cards and bunco. She loved spending time with her loving husband, daughters, grandchildren, sisters and many, many friends. She was Co-President of Washington Stars Quilt Guild, and a member of Red Hatters. She is survived by her husband, Gary of Olympia; daughters, Brenda (Bradey) Meyer of Aurora, CO, and Barbara (John) Santiago of Wilsonville, OR; sisters, Shirley Knapp of Centralia, Jean Barner of Centralia, and Dolores Cantellay of Kent, WA; grandchildren, Serena, Blake, Kahale, Jake, Drake, Kiana and Kainoa; and mother-in-law, Marcella Kellogg. She was predeceased by her parents, and father-in-law, Duane Kellogg. Services will be held Tuesday, July 30, 2013, 6:30 p.m., at the Lacey Community Center, 6729 Pacific Ave SE, Lacey, WA 98503.
