For me, my mother was my saint. She always looked out for me, no matter where I was or what I was doing. She had the ability to talk to me and guide me, no matter where I was in the world, with out ever talking to me. I just always knew what she wanted to tell me. I will miss having coffee with her but I know she will always guide me. The debt I owe her cannot ever be paid but I am who I am because of her and that is the greatest gift any child could ever receive.

My mother was not only a great mom, but my best friend. I will miss having toast and coffee with her and watching her flock of hummingbirds out her dining room window and admiring her beautiful paintings. Mom was full of talents; from her vegetable gardens when I was young to her flowers and roses after I left the nest, to her sewing my clothes as a child to her amazing quilts, then from painting walls in our homes to landscapes on canvas after dad past away. She was the greatest mentor and so full of wisdom, patience, and compassion. Oh how I’m gonna miss her. Love you Mom.

I’ll remember my sister most for her amazing sense of humor. She could find the humorous side of almost anything. One of her many talents was gardening. She could turn a mound of dirt into a beautiful landscape and did so time after time with each move they made. She was equally as nourishing with her family, always available with unconditional love. I will truly miss her.
