Obituary of Dorothy Jean Gregory

Dorothy was born February 18, 1921, to George and Ida Eklund in Meskill, Washington. She passed away August 30, 2014 in Lacey, Washington, at the age of 93. Dorothy graduated from Olympia High School and attended business school in Olympia. She was a secretary for Mountain View Elementary School in Lacey. She married Wendell Gregory on June 28, 1941. Dorothy was always cheerful and saw the best in everyone. She will be remembered for her positive attitude and faith in the Lord. She was a member of the Brethren Church (Lacey Community Church). She is survived by sons, Ron (Ione) Gregory of Rainier, Washington, Steve (Esther) Gregory of East Wenatchee, Washington, Larry (Jo) Gregory of Shelton, Washington, and Kent (Jeanne) Gregory of Seattle, Washington; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Wendell (1990); brothers, Lewis Eklund and Dick Eklund, both of Olympia; and sisters, Nellie Kerchner of Livingston, Montana, and Louise Ronne of Olympia.
