Obituary of Harriet Krier Fuller

Harriet was born November 2, 1932, in Bismarck, North Dakota to Henry and Elizabeth (Tschider) Krier. Harriet was the fifth of six children. The family moved to Olympia, Washington in 1945. Harriet attended Garfield Grade School and Olympia High School, graduating in the class of 1950. She continued to take part in many alumni activities and class reunions. In 1951, Harriet married her high school sweetheart, Laurence Veek. Sadly, Lawrence passed away in 1954. As a young widow, she met and married William “Bill” Fuller. Together they embarked on a new life in Lake Oswego, Oregon, where they lived for 40 years. Harriet had a very busy personal life, as well as a successful business career in the financial world for many years. When it came time to retire, Bill brought Harriet home to Olympia to be near her beloved family. Harriet passed away May 14, 2013 at home in Lacey, Washington. In addition to her husband of 55 years, Harriet is survived by her brothers, Cal Krier (Carol) of Issaquah, WA, Al Krier (Shirley) of San Diego, CA, and Bob Krier of Olympia; as well as many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Mary Jane Krier, Rosemary Erickson; and brother-in-law, Bill Erickson. At Harriet’s request, there will be no memorial service. Her family will gather later to celebrate her shining life. Please leave memories of Harriet or condolences for her family in the Guestbook below.
