Obituary of William Rhodes Feeney

This is in loving memory of William R. Feeney, who passed away at St. Peter Hospital on April 26, 2013, with his loving wife, Lori, his niece, Jill, and great friend, Glenn Burke at his side. He was born March 1, 1939 in Mondovi, Wisconsin to Harry and Grayce (Winter) Feeney. He graduated from St. Martin’s High School in 1957, and from St. Martin’s College in 1962. He taught elementary school in North Thurston Public School District for 35 years, and was beloved by his students. His artistic creativity was admired by many, including his nature drawings, carved duck decoys, and furniture. He is survived by his beloved wife of over 50 years, Lori; siblings, James (and wife, Helen) Feeney, and Carol (and husband, Gene) Gruber, all of Mondovi, Wisconsin; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Grayce Feeney; and three brothers, Patrick, Roger, and John Feeney, all of Lacey, Washington.
