Obituary of Dwaine Clarence Lensegrav

Dwaine C. Lensegrav passed away August 12, 2023, at the age of 71. He was born to Clarence and Esther Lensegrav on June 24, 1952.  He was affectionately called “Disco Duck” and “Dewey Duck” by his family and friends. 

 

Dwaine graduated from North Thurston High School in 1970 and went on to serve in the U.S. Air Force Reserves.  He was a very talented woodworker and craftsman who enjoyed building and remodeling projects. He loved the outdoors, including hunting, fishing, and camping. He spent some time living in Alaska. Dwaine was an accomplished guitar player. He also enjoyed playing other instruments and composing music. 

 

Dwaine is survived by his 97-year-old mother; his sister, Shirley Mooney (Tim Mooney); and grandson, Dawsyn Holt. He is also survived by niece, Shannon Moore (Kevin Moore) and their children, Morgan Getchman (AJ Getchman), Kinley and Van; niece, Madison Garlets (Drake Garlets) and their children, Westin and Bradley; niece, Stacy Everett and her children, Cassidy and Nataleigh Moyes. He is predeceased by his father, Clarence. 

 

Rest in eternal peace, Dwaine. You will live in our hearts forever.
