Obituary of Cecille Jeanette White

Cecille Jeanette White, 77, passed away July 18, 2023, at her home in Olympia, Washington, with her husband, Don, at her side, following a lengthy bout of Parkinsons.  She was born July 10, 1946, in Aberdeen, Washington, to Cecil and Helen Elder. 

 

Cecille graduated from Aberdeen’s Weatherwax High School in 1964 and was employed as a reading specialist by North Thurston Public Schools until her retirement.  She was an ardent runner and enjoyed traveling.

 

She is survived by her husband, Don; daughter, Debi Wright of Edgewood, Washington; son, Steven White (Lisa) of Farmington Hills, Michigan; grandchildren, Joe Wright, Gabby Wright, Jamie White, Nick White; and sisters, Sandy Price (Jim) of Tacoma, Washington, and Joanne Poitras (Mike) of Aberdeen.

 

A memorial service will be held September 21, 2023, 1:00 p.m. at South Sound Manor, 455 North St. SE, Tumwater, WA 98501.
