Obituary of Thomas A. Andres Jr.

Thomas A. Andres Jr. was born July 9, 1945, in Temple, Texas, and passed away June 30, 2023, in Lacey, Washington.

Tom was the beloved husband of Lenora Roberts Andres for more than 54 years. He leaves behind daughter, Stacy Kristina Andres Younglove (husband, John Younglove), granddaughter, Alli Younglove, step-grandson, John Younglove Jr.; daughter, Carrie June Andres Moschetto (husband, Joe Moschetto), and grandsons, Logan and Joseph Moschetto. Tom also leaves behind his sister, Linda Andres Chapman; many nieces, a nephew, many cousins, and an uncle, Ray. He was preceded in death by his mother, June Sharpes Andres; father, Thomas A. Andres Sr.; brother, Ken Andres (Diana); and cousin, Pat Alderman Jones, who passed recently. 

Tom was a 1963 graduate of Clover Park High School and earned a degree from Central Washington State College in 1967.  He began his teaching career at Idlewild Elementary in the Clover Park School District, where he taught mostly 4^th grade. Tom was also a member of the Tacoma Gallopin’ Gertie Model A Club and the Steeds Car Club of Tacoma. 

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, September 10, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Jubilee Lodge, 8487 Bainbridge Loop NE, Lacey, WA 98516.
