Obituary of Donna Jean Massoth

Donna Jean (Raymond) Massoth, born and raised in Republic, Washington, died at the age of 89 on June 12, 2023. 

 

She is survived by her daughter, son-in-law, two biological grandchildren, two biological great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, three grandchildren by marriage, one step-daughter, and one step-son.

 

Donna was loved by everyone who knew her. She loved animals, especially the Weimaraner. She was very active in the Western Washington Weimaraner Club of America. She was also active in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lacey, Washington, and with the church’s St. Jude’s Guild.  Donna loved gardening, going out to lunch and movies with her friends, and the Seahawk parties! She was a longtime member of the Capitol City Lady Lions, helped run weekly bingo at Roo Lan Heath & Rehab, and loved all the family gatherings throughout the years.

 

Donna was a very special person and, without her, there is a void in our lives.

 

A funeral mass will be held Friday, July 14, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 812 Bowker St. SE, Lacey, WA 98503.  A reception will follow at Hallen Hall.
