Obituary of Wayde Chambers
Wayde Chambers, 23, of Tumwater, Washington, passed away May 18, 2023.
Wayde attended Tumwater School District, graduating from Tumwater High School in 2018. During his time in middle school, he participated in track and field sports. His preferred events included javelin, shotput, and discus. In high school, he found a special interest playing ultimate frisbee with his friends during their lunch breaks. He even joined an Ultimate Frisbee team, and competed with other local teams.
An avid Seahawks fan, Wayde enjoyed attending and watching football games with family. Wayde had a love for animals, especially dogs and cats, which he always had while growing up. He also loved going to new release movies with his close friends, Gavon, and Jared.
Wayde enjoyed trips with his immediate family, extended family, and his friends. He really liked going jet skiing, boating, and fishing. Game nights with family or friends were very important to him. His favorite thing to do was to play online games with his friends and he even attended E3 gaming conventions in California. Wayde and his friends were able to see and play the latest games to be released.
Wayde was always on the hunt for the best burger. It all started at Eagan’s. His search took him to the Heart Attack Grill in Las Vegas, and to Wahlburgers in Overland Park, Kansas. But there was one remote location that was at the top of his list, and that was Clarks Restaurant in Artic, Washington. He craved the burgers, shakes, and fries, and couldn’t get home fast enough to tell us all about it.
Wayde is survived by his mother, Courtney Kopp; bonus dad, John; father, Jeremy Chambers; bonus mom, Vivian; brother, Cody; grandparents, Georgia and Dale Nelson, Jerry Chambers, Jim Marsh, Vada Thomsen, and John Kopp Sr.; uncles, Sean (Tara) Chambers, Lanny Marsh, and Vance Marsten; aunts, Rebecca Marsten and Emma Rose Chambers; cousins, Coulson and Dalton Chambers, Brandon Garner, and many more.
Those who knew Wayde, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives. He was loved by so many.
Wayde’s celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2023, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at The Jacob Smith House, 4500 Intelco Loop, Lacey, WA 98503.
