Obituary of Evert Ray Stowe

Evert Ray Stowe, former longtime resident of Merced, California (1970-2015), passed away May 15, 2023, in Olympia, Washington. He was born October 26, 1948, to Charles and Gerritjen Stowe in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. 

 

Evert served in the U.S. Air Force (1968-1972), stationed at Castle Air Force Base and was deployed to Vietnam.  After his service, he worked at Foster Farms Logistics for over 43 years (1972-2015). Evert married Pam Johnson on October 25, 2020, in Olympia. He enjoyed NASCAR, golf, and barbeque.

 

Evert is survived by his wife, Pam Johnson; son, Robert Stowe; daughter, Michele Stowe; two grandchildren; and sister, Janet Stowe Pohl.  His parents predeceased him.
