Obituary of Sally Wood

Sally June (Savage) Wood, 79, passed away April 13, 2023, at home, in Centralia, Washington.  She was born Feb. 29, 1944, to Walter D. and June E. (Fleming) Savage in Missoula, Montana.

 

She is survived by her husband, Gary E. Wood; and three children, Glen P. (Mahalia) Wood, S. Michelle (Aaron) Dickerson and S. Christina Wood.  Sally also had nine grandchildren, Davion Riley, Olivia Cavan and Evangeline Wood, Aidan and Nathan Dickerson, Magdalena Wood-Richardson, Mariposa Wood-Meyer and Mosi’ula “Mosi” Wood.

 

Sally’s siblings are Patricia “Patsy” J. (John) Golden of Hillsboro, Oregon, Michael (Deahn) Savage of Bethany, Oklahoma, and Carolyn Savage of Olympia.

 

A service will be held for Sally at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 20, 2023, at Harrison Square Presbyterian Church in Centralia, Washington.  In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that you make a donation in Sally’s name to your favorite charity.
