Obituary of Barbara Ann Snyder

Barbara Ann Snyder passed away March 8, 2023, in Olympia, Washington.  She was born October 4, 1963, to Wilford and Elva Snyder in Lancaster, California. Barb was a traveling gypsy and lived in many places throughout her life.

 

She graduated from Lancaster’s Antelope High School on June 19, 1982, and years later retired from food management. Barb and Theresa Smith had a commitment ceremony is Las Vegas, Nevada, on June 18, 2019.

 

Barb was a number one fan of the Seattle Seahawks.  She loved dolphins, the Hawaii islands, camping, swimming, big family BBQs, bonfires, and soaking up the sun on beaches wherever her gypsy heart landed.

 

She is survived by her life partner, Theresa Smith; brothers, Charles A. Snyder and Rudy Mohan of Lancaster; nieces, Caroline A. Snyder of Redding, California, and Christiana L. Henry of Lancaster; and nephews, Christopher R. Snyder of San Diego, California, and Christian J. Snyder of Norfolk, Virginia.  Barb had many sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews not of blood but of the heart all over the United States who loved her and will also miss her dearly.

 

A service will be planned for the future.
