Obituary of Charles R. Hall

Charles R. Hall passed away January 19, 2023, in Olympia, Washington.  He was born May 26, 1937, to Ray and Gwendolyn Hall in Lewistown, Montana. He attended Lacey Elementary School and graduated from Olympia High School in 1955.

 

Charles married Linda Olson on October 30, 1970, in Olympia.  They lived in Shelton, Washington, for 30 years; at Jubilee in Lacey, Washington, for 10 years; and last nine years at Affinity of Lacey.

 

Professionally, Charles owned a car dealership, Kompact Kar Korner; was a manager at Capital Savings and Loan for five years; and worked in auto sales in Shelton for 35 years. His greatest interests were baseball and golf.  He loved the Mariners and making the special trips to Seattle to watch them play.  He also loved the many years of golfing with his family.

 

Charles is survived by his wife, Linda Hall of Olympia; sons, Jason Hall (wife, Lianne) of Gig Harbor, Washington, and Darin Hall (wife, Cari) of Lacey; and grandchildren, Landon and Eva.

 

A celebration of Charles’ life will be held Sunday, May 21, 2023, 2:00 p.m. at the Lacey Community Center, 6729 Pacific Ave. SE, Lacey, WA 98503.
