Obituary of Mary Ann Graham

Mary Ann Graham passed away December 9, 2022, in Olympia, Wash.  She was born January 12, 1945, to Gertrude Wille and Duncan Chisholm in Jordan, Mont.  Mary Ann was a 26-year resident of Yelm, Wash. (1996-2022) and also lived in North Platte, Neb. (1984-1996) and several cities in Montana and Wyoming.

 

She was married to Tommy L. Graham from 1962 to 1967 in Jordan, Mont., followed by Douglas F. Graham from 1970 to 2004, also in Jordan.

 

Mary Ann was a caring, compassionate, strong-willed, and fiery woman who loved uniqueness.  She worked a variety of jobs, including nurses aid, retail, cleaning, and at Great Plains Regional Medical Center, Nisqually Valley nursing home, and the Red Wind Casino, from which she retired.  She loved sewing, crocheting, baking, painting, house plants, puzzles, crafts, and especially spending time with family and friends.  She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Moose, Emmanual Lutheran in Yelm.

 

She is survived by her sons, Thomas D. Graham of Forsyth, Mont., and Terry Graham of North Platte, Neb.; daughters, Tammy Brimer of Garden City, Kan., Theresa and son-in-law Ron Griffiths of North Platte, Neb., and Toni Logan of Tumwater, Wash.; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and sister, Lily Johnston of Utah.  She was predeceased by her parents; husbands, Douglas Graham (2013) and Tommy Graham (2021); and sister, Barbara Chisholm.

 

A memorial service will be held in Spring 2023 at Garfield County Cemetery in Jordan, Mont.
