Obituary of Christopher William Charles Campbell

Christopher William Charles Campbell passed away of complications from a stroke on October 1, 2022, in Olympia.  He was born August 15, 1941, to William J. and Rowena (Collins) Campbell in San Jose, California.

 

Christopher went to school in California and joined the U.S. Navy before returning to complete his high school degree.  He married Patricia Ann Quinn in June of 1964, and they enjoyed 55 years together until her passing in 2019.

 

Christopher worked for Crown, Cork and Seal until his retirement.  He was an avid NASCAR follower.  When people asked what his religion was, he always answered, “NASCAR.”  A huge NFL football fan, his favorite team was the San Francisco 49ers.

 

Christopher is survived by his daughters, Tracy Aslin and Teresa Santee; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sister, Shirley Craig.  He was predeceased by his wife, Patricia A. Campbell; and brothers, Don Campbell and Wayne Campbell.

 

At his request, there will be no services.
