Obituary of Mildred Olive (Kuhn) Larner
Mildred Olive (Kuhn) Larner passed away August 21, 2022, in Federal Way, Washington. She was born January 7, 1943, to Carl and Ann Kuhn in Seattle, Washington, and raised in Federal Way. As an adult, she moved to California and then returned to the Seattle area in the 2000s, where she lived for the rest of her life.
Mildred was creative and liked to paint. She enjoyed cruising Pacific Highway in her electric wheelchair, often with a grandchild on the back. She also enjoyed playing Bingo, especially when she won. She loved sweets; Lindor chocolates were her favorites. She made the BEST spaghetti.
Mildred was a Christian and always looked forward to services at the nursing home. She particularly enjoyed Easter and would give chocolate Easter bunnies to her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Joe Jr.; daughters, Sandie, Sharon, Cindy, Linda and Lizzy; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was especially close to the three grandchildren she helped raise, Neo (James), Antonio, and Gabriel.
Services will be held at a later date.
