Obituary of Delores R. McDermott

Delores R. McDermott passed away April 9, 2022, after spinal surgery, in Seattle, Washington.  She was born September 20, 1939, to Frank and Beuleh Reilly in Portland, Oregon.  A 16-year resident of Edmonds, Washington, Delores graduated from Edmonds High School in 1958, and married James P. McDermott on August 23, 1958, in Lynnwood, Washington.

Professionally, Delores was an administrative assistant at Washington State Department of Transportation.  She was a member of the Lions Club for over 30 years, serving in many positions, including president.  She also used her strong leadership skills as 2001 president of Capital Lakefair.

Delores is survived by her husband, James P. McDermott; daughters, Pamela Lynn Randal and Penny Rene McDermott; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
