Linda was one of the sweetest people you could know. Always welcoming with a warm smile and hug. We grew up in the same neighborhood, our mothers were good friends and she and I worked together at Weyerhaeuser nursery in the mid 70’s. Thoughts and Prayers to the family, so sorry for the loss of this special lady.

Oh, Mrs Althauser. One of my very favorite teachers at CHS. She always made me feel special and loved. She had a way about her that made me feel like I mattered. Her classroom was full of pictures of her students who loved her, thousands. If I saw her 10 years later, she still made a point to give me a hug and genuinely care about my well being. What a life well lived with meaning and purpose. She was a good one. Love, Charly Enlow (Bridges) Class of 2002

I don't even know where to begin! Sorrow & grief is such a personal thing. As everyone I have heard say....Linda was truly one of a kind. Walley & I enjoyed all those years of baseball with our respective boys. She always had a big smile on her face & you felt whatever you had to say...it was of the utmost importance to her at that moment. She made you feel special & not just us...but all her family, friends, & even casual acquaintances. Even tho' we didn't see each other often....usually running into each other at The Main Street Grill....you said goodbye feeling happy & warm all over from having seen her.....wish I could see her one last time! Dawn W.
