Obituary of Rosemary Mohoric

Rosemary Mohoric, 91, passed away Dec. 7, 2021, in Olympia, Washington. She was born in Chehalis, Washington, on Sept. 27, 1930, to Karl and Ida Goll. She graduated from Chehalis High School in 1948. She met and married the love of her life, Melvin Mohoric, on Nov. 17, 1956. They were married for 59 years before his passing in 2016.

 

Rosemary was a devoted mother, grandma and aunt to her large, extended family. She worked as the Adna Grade School secretary for many years and worked with Mel at the Farm Store for several years. Camping with Mel and her kids and grandkids at their beach lot was one of her favorite things, along with gardening and canning from their large garden.

 

She is survived by her children, Lori (Bob) and David (Connie); grandchildren, Matt and Kevin Anderson, Tim (Sina) Mohoric, Krista Mohoric, Ashley Mohoric and Michael Mohoric; and great-grandchildren, Landen, Beau, Hayleigh and Hayden. She is predeceased by her parents; sisters, Margaret and Barbara; brother, Frankie; and her son, Keith.

 

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, Dec. 30, 2021, at 2:00 p.m., at the Newaukum Grange Hall, with luncheon and fellowship.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or Adna High School Scholarship Fund.
