Dennis and I are thankful we were able to meet Laura and enjoyed visiting with her. She was a beautiful lady and so easy to talk to. It was nice to read the beautiful stories of her here. We will always remember her smile.

I wrote this a while ago for my mom. My heart is broken and will always remain so, but I have absolutely NO REGRETS - for which I am thankful. And I would do it all over again.
I just want to say publicly how proud I am of my mom, Laura Parshall. She has been through so many changes in the past several years. From having many different caregivers in her home to living in several different places, adjusting to different caregivers and circumstances, unplanned and planned moves, multiple hospitalizations, the loss of her husband, the pandemic and all of the isolation and rules that have come along with that. She has had to relinquish control of her finances, her home, and almost every one of her earthly possessions.
Of course, there has been a lot of sadness and pain with these changes, but she has managed to keep a sense of humor and also to hold her own through it all. She still has the most beautiful smile. She is stronger than I've given her credit for being.
It has been and continues to be an honor and a privilege to do whatever I personally can do for her as a daughter. And it has taken me many years to realize how blessed I am that she is my mom.
I love you Mom and will miss you every day for the rest of my life.

Bob and I will always remember Aunt Laura for her great sense of humor. Our Tuesday morning breakfasts with Laura and Tom was always fun, watching Tom & Bob arm wrestle for the bill. We are so thankful for the assurance we will be together again.
All our love Bob & Val,
