Pamala Huffman

Obituary of Pamala Marie Huffman

Pamala Marie Huffman passed away suddenly after a brief illness, at her home in Washington State, on November 20, 2021. She was 61 years old. Pam is survived by her husband, Richard; her sister, Tabatha; her aunt, Elma; her cousins, Karen, Kim, Brent, Brenda, Brandi, Britt, and their families; her sister’s husband, Eric, and their son, Tory; her husband’s siblings, Scott and Fran; and her dog, George.

Born in Ohio on April 19, 1960, Pam was the first child of Loretta and Britt Johnson. To Pam’s great delight, her little sister, Tabatha, was born eight years later. Pam was a loving daughter and devoted big sister. The family of four lived in the country with many animal companions, and frequently visited Britt’s brother’s family in the city. Pam grew up with her eldest cousins and they shared many happy childhood memories.

Britt, Loretta, Pam and Tabatha moved to Washington State in 1977, where Pam lived the remainder of her life. Pam married Richard in 1978. She worked in a variety of industries, including food service, livestock farming, mobile home park management, ceramics, and retail. She worked for her last employer, Walmart, for about a decade. Pam made friends easily and was well-loved by everyone.

Pam touched so many lives; her kindness and genuine concern for others was a beacon of light in the world. She was loving, loyal, wise, thoughtful, warm, and funny. Pam was a truly good person who generously gave her time and energy to help her friends and loved ones. A humble Christian, Pam practiced her faith in how she lived her life and treated others. She was a shining example for us all and we are blessed to have known her.

We will miss you every single day, Pam.

Memorial: Pam will be cremated, per her wishes. In lieu of a service, her family created an online memorial at https://www.forevermissed.com/pamala-marie-huffman/about.
