Obituary of Renee J. Schaut

Renee J. Schaut passed away of cancer on November 3, 2021, in Shelton, Washington.  She was born June 11, 1952, to Charles L. and Evelyn M. Fournier in Renton, Washington. 

 

Renee graduated from Kentridge High School in Kent, Washington, attended Central University, and earned a bachelor degree in art from the University of Washington. She married Gregory Schaut on May 7, 1977, and between working and moving three times in five years, they managed trips to Hawaii.  In 1985, she surprised her family and friends by giving birth to a son, Timothy.  She loved her new role as a mother and eventually a grandmother.

 

Renee became an avid bookkeeper, working for family and friends’ businesses.  Her favorite at the end of her career was working with her dear friend at Ocean Marine Services, Inc.

 

She loved cruising around the world with her life-long friends, and camping with family and friends in the family RV.  She also was an avid crossword solver, and avid reader.

 

Renee is survived by her husband, Greg; son, Timothy Charles (Laura Lynn) Schaut; grandchildren, Josephine, Carter, Kassidy and Brynlee; parents, Charley and Evelyn Fournier and Carol A. Schaut; and brother, Marc Fournier.  She was predeceased by brother, Ronald Fournier.
