Timothy Craig

Obituary of Timothy J. Craig

Timothy J. Craig passed away July 20, 2021, in Olympia, Washington. He was born December 9, 1961, to Gerry W. Craig and Darlene M. Fennel in Olympia.

A 1979 graduate of Olympia High School, Tim was a truck driver for Lakeside Industries.  He enjoyed hunting, watching drag races, and small engine repair. He loved big trucks, and his cats and dogs.

Tim had a huge heart, loved big, and could be silly. He was proud of his son, Michael, especially that he has grown into a gentle, caring man.  Tim shared his love of drag racing with his nephews.  His nieces adored him; he was their big, lovable Uncle Tim. Tim never stayed in one place too long, except for his commitment to his job at Lakeside.

He is survived by his son, Michael Craig of Hawaii; mother, Darlene Fennel of Tumwater; brothers, Berry Craig (Julie) of Olympia, Randy Craig (Tina) of Olympia; and sisters, Linda Craig (Ron Wagner) of Port Orchard, Laurie Craig (Terry Martin) of Olympia. He was predeceased by his father, Gerry Craig; and grandparents, James and Marjorie Craig and John and Nellie Campbell.

The family would like to thank Providence Hospice Care Team for their excellent care of Tim and the family, also a huge thank you to his sister, Laurie, and Terry for opening their home to care for Tim in his final weeks.
