Obituary of Stefan Ardamica

Stefan “Steve” Ardamica passed away of cancer on June 28, 2021, in Lacey, Washington. He was born December 26, 1936 in Zebel Romania. Over the years, he also lived in Germany; Yakima, Washington; and Maryland.

 

Steve finished high school with a certificate of achievement test.  He served in the U.S. Army from 1956 to retirement in 1988.  He served in Korea in 1962 and Vietnam in 1965.  He was a motor pool maintenance technician in the U.S. Army motor pool.

 

Steve was an avid CB ham operator.  He had a reputation for being stubborn and opinionated. He belonged to the Olympia Masonic Lodge.

 

He is survived by his wife, Beverly J. Ardamica of Lacey; son, Thomas R. Ardamica, his wife, Daynna of Richland Washington, their daughter, Shannon Hall, and her husband, Josh, and grandchildren, Grayden and Riley; daughter, Peggy Bean, and her daughters, Bethanie Bean, and Jessica Loeder and husband, Brandon; and son, Alan Ardamica, and wife, Jodi of Richland, their daughters, Jaycee Ardamica and Kristine Sanchez and her husband, Johnny, and grandchildren, J.J. and Kristiana, and son, Cody, and great-granddaughter, Alexis.

 

He was predeceased by his mother, Olympia Roedder; and stepfather, Trajan Constantine.

 

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, July 17, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at the Olympia Church of Christ, 3132 Boulevard Road, Olympia, WA 98502.

 

Memorial donations may be made to the Thurston County Food Bank in Olympia.
