Donna, we were so blessed to find you and Jim at Deep Canyon. Jim entertained us on the tennis courts, the pickle ball courts and with the DCTC singers. His friendly and humorous banter brought levity and fun to us all. His attitude and spirit during his health challenge is an inspiration to us all as well. We miss him. We look forward to seeing you back in the desert. Bruce and Janie

I cherish the memories I have of my cousin, Jimmy...who is the first grandchild (and a boy, to boot!) for Daddy George and Gram. He lived with grandparents during WW11...so he had a very special bond with them. He had two dads. Daddy Jim and Daddy George. How special is that. So he had this special bond with our grandparents and Aunt Kathleen.
When I found out that he he and Donna were not far from Aunt Kathleen, I was so happy for Jim.
But...as I look back to when were kids...oh, oh...I have to say that he was a ''sinker'' with an impish smile..He pinched me once and my knee when through the door...I did have a wart as a reminder..One time, he was teasing me and ripped my Walt Disney ''Thumper'' comic book. My mom taped it and I sill have the book today.
All in all, he is Jimmy, my cousin.. love him. It good to have the Facebook pictures of Donna and Jimmy enjoying their activities enjoying themselves. When I do think of him, I so see that twinkle of those Irish eyes and his smile. He was a typical boy. Chershing the memories I have with Jimmy and Patsy at Gram and Daddy George's house in San Francisco. ....the fish pond...the canaries, the cookies, apple pie, Shredded Wheat....dinning room filled with aunts, uncles and cousins..breakfast room....and the list goes on..What nice memories .
Donna, so lovely he found you. You and my cousin shared many wonderful moments. Take care.
Love, Judy in San Francisco.

Donna, and family, I am sorry for your loss. At Woodland elementary Jim was the coolest teacher a kid could have, he was the teacher every kid wanted to have! I remember recess he would play softball with all of us, and he had a bucket of bubble gum that he would throw out for the kids to catch! He was an all around awesome man, my thoughts and prayers are with all of you!
