Obituary of Maryann Twiggs

Maryann Twiggs, 80, passed away of acute respiratory distress syndrome on May 1, 2021, in Olympia, Wash.  She was born January 18, 1941, to Charles and Mildred Rinck.  A 25-year Yelm resident, Maryann also lived in Sacramento, Calif.

 

She was a volunteer at senior centers, driving friends to different events and appointments.  She loved social events, spending time with family, and hanging out with her grandkids and great-grandkids.  She also loved crafts and playing games.

 

Maryann is survived by her son, Jeffery A. Twiggs and wife, Marina R. Twiggs of Yelm; daughters, Terri A. Stage and her husband Edwin Stage of Yelm, and Debora A. Hansen of Georgetown, Calif.; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Florence Walker of Spokane, Wash., and Connie Foster of Fairbanks, Alaska.
