Our thoughts are with you all. Glad for what Cheryl meant to us...to you...to the church...to our Father. Their home in NJ was a haven to many...myself included. Lots of good memories there...from Cleveland Drive. Glad our Father is able to comfort beyond our expectations. Just thinking of you...with appreciation. Dan Helenek

We're so grateful for comfort from our Father and from the memory of Mom's faithful life. You're right, her home was a haven to many! It was a privilege for Matt and me to grow up in an open home. Thank you for your message and the reminder of happy memories.

Cheryl was my mother's best friend, and Cheryl and Jim bore the fruit of the Spirit for many years when it came to their fellowship with my mother. My mom loved them both but was especially in debt to Cheryl for being more like a sister through some very rough seas in her life, if it were only that, I would be forever grateful. But Cheryl and Jim were also kind to me and my sister, and always kind to my father as well. Cheryl cared deeply about our family, and they opened their home to me to live on a temporary basis while I was still finding my way in this life. Cheryl always had "fresh bread" to share and her fellowship and wise counsel over the decades was truly special to me. She'll always have a special place in our lives, as it was in her home that I met my future wife and both their examples have continued to speak to us over the years of what an open home and a meeting home should be, as well as a loving couple that is a help one to another in God's way. Will miss her dearly but so grateful for all the memories that will continue to feed my soul.

Thank you for your beautiful message! Long ago, I dubbed my parents' house the "Hutchinson Hotel" because of all the friends they took in or took care of. Among some little treasures of Mom's, I found the memorial card and bookmark from when your own mother passed away last year. Mom held onto friendships forever! Thanks for sharing the photo -- many happy memories of our younger days in NJ.

Oh, my heart goes out to each of you! I well remember my days in Jim and Cheryl's home in NJ my years with Lula Brown and Louise Woods. A home with expandable walls built on the foundation of Love Divine. I know this day is coming for us all. And know Cheryl manifested plainly she was living as for eternity. Very thankful for her love to live for others. She inspired me to do the same. With love, care and heartfelt sympathy for all those loved ones left behind, Sandra Shaw

"A home with expandable walls" is a perfect description of my parents' houses in NJ and PA. It was a privilege for Matt and me to grow up with a steady stream of workers and friends moving through our home. Our parents put the idea of love into action. Now we have joyful memories of you, Lula, and Louise in our field all those years ago!
