Obituary of Karl William Adams

It is with great sadness that the family of Karl W Adams, Jr. announces his passing on March 7, 2021, following complications from an injury.

 

Welcomed by his parents on May 20, 1971, in Salem, Oregon, Karl enjoyed hunting, camping, target shooting, and traveling. He also enjoyed cooking and watching movies. He worked for the Top Foods/Haggen Corporation for over 30 years, and was known for his dedication and hard work.

 

Kind, loving, loyal, giving, and tender-hearted best describe Karl. He was taken too soon, and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

 

He is survived by his wife, Jessica (Gates) of Olympia, Washington; mother, Sue Adams of Olympia; brother, Scott Adams (Diane) of Alabama; nephew, Brandon Adams (Samantha) and family; niece, Ashley Shedd (Matt) and family; in-laws, Craig and Deedee Miller and Mark Gates; brother-in-law, Kirk Gates (Callie); goddaughters, Evelyn and Elise; sister-in-law, Becki Taylor (Chad) and family; brother-in-law, Chris Gardener (Deti) and family; and brother-in-law, Jason Miller (Fiona) and family.

 

He was preceded in death by his father, Karl W. Adams, and his beloved pets, Jules and Sunny.

 

A private family service is planned.
