Obituary of Ronald V. Smorynski

Ronald V. Smorynski, 78, passed away February 20, 2021, at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, Washington.  Surviving him are his wife, Sharon; daughters, Sumi and Tammi; son, Ronald Jr. (Philomena); two grandchildren; three brothers; and one sister.

 

Ronald received a bachelor’s degree from New Mexico State University.  He served 21 years in the U.S. Army, and retired as a warrant officer. 

 

His hobbies included going on bike trails and fly fishing.  He was a member of Trout Unlimited, South Sound Fly Fishers, Elks, VFW, and the American Legion.

 

He will be inurned at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Washington.
