Obituary of Sharon (Clark) Aller

On Saturday, February 13, 2021, Sharon (Clark) Aller, loving and dedicated wife and mother, passed away surrounded by her loved ones at the age of 58.

Sharon was born on June 4, 1962, in Sedro-Woolley, Washington. Her pride and joy was her family. Between Sharon and her partner Larry, they raised six children. She loved her family above all else, especially her grandchildren. She was happiest and most content spending time with her family; she was at as many sporting events, dance recitals, graduations and promotions as possible, always the most proud spectator.

When Sharon wasn’t cheering on her grandchildren, she loved fishing, camping, gardening, daisies, Starbucks Black Tea Lemonade, traveling and going to concerts with Larry, especially when they saw Rod Stewart and REO Speedwagon. Her favorite time of year was Christmastime. She loved having family gathered and enjoying each other’s company. You could find her selling trees in the weeks leading up to Christmas, since she loved catching up with long time customers and wishing them well in the New Year. She adored finding the perfect gift to light up a loved one’s face and made Christmas the most magical time of year with her love.

Sharon was a doting partner, mother, Mimi, daughter, sister and friend, always offering all she had to help others. Although Larry and Sharon had nearly 30 years together, it was not enough time and she left this world far too soon. Larry wishes they had more time for their many adventures together. Although she raised and guided her children well, they were not ready for her to leave. Her children and grandchildren will miss her immensely and nothing will be able to fill the void of losing their mother and Mimi far too soon.

Sharon is preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Betty (Eastbury) and Bob Lucas; her brother, Rick Clark; and her sister, Sandy (Clark) Westwood. She leaves behind her partner of 29 years, Larry Skewis of Olympia; her father and stepmother, Butch and Barb Clark of Yakima; brother, Ron Clark of Lacey; stepbrother, Jon Anderson of Yakima; stepsister, Nancy Turner of Pasco; daughters, Heather (Brad) Daly of Silverdale, Heidi (Adam) Gustin of Tumwater, and Megan Smith of Yelm; sons, James Keetch of Tacoma, Ed (Sonya Daisley-Harrison) Skewis of Kent, and Greg (Stacy Davis) Skewis of Vancouver; son-in-law, Alex Smith of Olympia; along with 11 grandchildren, Clayton, Jackson, Isabelle, Kolton, Easton, Raleigh, Aurora, Willow, Lily, Kaleb and Liam ; six nieces; one nephew; and her beloved pug, Polly.

Celebration of life information will follow at a later date.
