Obituary of Anita Wright

Anita Wright, age 77, passed away of respiratory complications on January 12, 2021, in Centralia, Washington.  She was born May 15, 1943, to Ernest and Bonnie Howland in Ontario, Oregon.

 

Anita earned a Master’s Degree in Home Economics from the University of Idaho.  She married David Wright on September 18, 1965, in Coeur D’Alene, Idaho.  Professionally, she taught elementary school in Willapa Valley, Washington.  She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

 

Anita was a strong-willed, honest, loving and compassionate person. She was very protective of those she loved.  She was very detail-oriented and loved making lists.  She loved spending time with her family and friends. When she was younger, she enjoyed knitting, sewing, baking, cooking, reading, doing crossword puzzles, and scrapbooking. 

 

Anita is survived by her daughter, Becky Wright; and sons, Adam Wright and wife Ginger, Matthew Wright, and Noah Wright and wife Kyla; six grandchildren; and sister, Linda Smith.  She was predeceased by her husband, and parents.

 

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2021, at 1 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 245 East Jackson Ave., Raymond, WA 98577.
