Obituary of Summer Sheree Williams

Summer Shree Williams, age 43, passed away January 10, 2021, at St. Peter Hospital in Lacey, Washington. She was born April 3, 1977, to Dixie Carol Ivory (Clarke) and Joe Lee Williams of Esterline, Texas. She had one sibling, Shelly Michelle Williams, who is married to Germaine Harris. During Summer's early childhood, her mother remarried to Jerry Albert Clarke Jr., who became the closest and caring father to her heart and two more sisters, Christina Marie Clarke, who is married to Eric Williams, and Jessica Jean Clarke. Our combined families shared a bond like no other. Summer has a beautiful daughter, her princess Dwayzsha Cantley, who was born in 1995.  Later in her life, Summer met Tyreon Marc Woods and, during a 15-year relationship, they had a strong, handsome son and her prince, Tyree Marquise Henry Woods, and step-son, Tyreon Avail Woods, who she loved very much.

The Black Barbie, who touched many hearts, passed away too early but peacefully, with an abundance of love from family and close friends after an unspeakable fight with colon cancer. Our sister Summer was the life of every event, party or gathering, and the only REAL fashion-heel-wearing diva. She never wanted sadness or crying, for she was never afraid of the battlefield in front of her because she walked with God. Summer trusted him to guide her through this time, and he kept his promise. God kept her from pain and suffering because the battle was not hers to endure.

She leaves behind her two children, finance, mother, father, and sisters. Summer's heart was filled with unconditional love for her nieces, Vidasha Wilson, Denise and Jenise Harris, Germaine Harris Jr, Antoinque Vinson, Layloni Vinson, Dixie Lambert, Timarra Griffith, Tatiana Medina, Dominick Clarke-Harris; and nephew, Eric Williams Jr. She had four great nephews, Jason Dolman, Ezkel Martinez, Joseiah Martinez, Akiem Morlock; and one great niece, Alaiya Dotson. She also left behind her grandmother, Lee Ella Williams of Esterline, Texas; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and many, many friends.
