Obituary of Andrew Ray South

Andrew Ray “Andy” South, 45, passed away unexpectedly on September 25, 2020, in Yelm, Washington, his home of six years.  He was born July 20, 1975, to Debra Carrillo and George South in Salem, Oregon.  Over the years, he also resided in Mill City, Oregon; Portland, Oregon; Rochester, Washington; Rainier, Washington; and Centralia, Washington.

 

Andy attended Santiam High School in Mill City, and worked for Pride Construction & Development, and for A Affordable Plumbing Inc. (October 2012 – March 2020). 

 

He was a hard-working, devoted family man and jokester.  He was a barbeque MASTER, and enjoyed cooking for his family and friends. He loved fishing, bow hunting, and going on adventures with his wife and kids. Family time was important to him.

 

He is survived by his wife, Amber Naumann-Finley; sons, Ayden South and Matthew Beyer; daughters, Ayla South and Ashley Winston; grandchildren, Blaize, Leona and Dillon; mother, Debbie Carrillo; sister, Jamie South; nieces, Marissa and Miranda; nephews, Malachi, Chance, Dayton and Kannin; and numerous other relatives.  He was predeceased by his father, George South; grandparents, Frank and Mary Grant; and uncle, David Grant.
