Obituary of Betty Colleen Elliott

Betty Colleen “Kim” Elliott, 80, passed away due to complications of COPD on September 16, 2020, in Vader, Washington, her home of 20 years.  She was born September 28, 1939, to Earl Ray and Betty Jo (Brandt) Lindsey in Fort Collins, Colorado.  She also resided for a time in Idaho.

 

Kim graduated from R.A. Long High School in Longview, Washington, and married Bernered Elliott on November 3, 1957, in Castle Rock, Washington. She was a musician and farmer, who loved raising animals, music, reading, and painting. The only thing more fiery than her temper was her passion for her family and animals.

 

She is survived by her son, Rocky Elliott of Idaho; daughter, Robin Jessup of Napavine, Washington; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and brother, Gary Lindsey of Longview. She was predeceased by her husband; parents; and brother, Kenny Lindsey.

 

There will be a private family memorial.  Memorial donations may be made to Providence Sound Home Care, 1702 S. Gold St., Centralia, WA 98531.
