Obituary of Gary Dwayne Griffin

Gary Dwayne Griffin, 64, passed away August 17, 2020, in Olympia, Washington.  He was born July 12, 1956, to Kenneth and Margie Griffin in Baytown, Texas.

Gary married Theresa Pendergast on January 26, 2006, in Reno, Nevada. Professionally, he was a Deputy for the Thurston County Sheriff Department.

He is survived by his wife, Theresa Griffin; stepsons, Bryce Pendergast (Kaydie), Kevin Wilson, and Brian Wilson; stepdaughters, Braelyn Weatherbie, Mandy Wilson Volk, and Patricia Finch (Bryent); grandchildren, Noah, Emma, and Griffin; brothers, Alvin Griffin (Dea) and Gaylen Griffin (Wendy); and sister, Melody Porter (Keith). He was predeceased by his parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, August 23, 2020, 1:00 p.m. at 8110 Ayer St. SE, Olympia, WA 98501.
