Obituary of Katheren R. Hizey

Katheren R. Hizey, 63, passed away April 7, 2020, in Olympia, Washington.  She was born September 16, 1956, to Stan Douglas and Claire Fritzler Douglas in Auburn, Washington. 

 

Katheren married her second husband, Russ Hizey, in 1984.  She worked in telecommunications more than 23 years for Quest, and 13 years for Tru-Blue, from which she retired.

 

She was the kindest person you would ever want to meet.  She loved her grandkids, her three cats, and spending time at the ocean.

 

Katheren is survived by her husband, Russ Hizey; sons, Donny Hizey, Jessie Hizey and Adam Hizey; daughter, Danielle Holbrook; 10 grandchildren; brothers, John Douglas and Bob Douglas; and sisters, Kimberly Iwasco and Darby Winters. She was predeceased by her parents; brothers, Steve Douglas and Daryl Douglas; and grandson, Sebastian Danger Hizey.
