Obituary of Harold Orson Wells

Harold Orson Wells passed away March 30, 2020, in Olympia, Washington.  He was born August 14, 1947, to Harold Ferris Wells and Alice Christie Wells in Olympia. He was a lifelong resident of Tumwater, Washington.

 

Harold served in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1972, and married Roxanna Allen in November 1977 in Olympia. Professionally, he was a log truck driver until he retired in 2009.

 

Harold loved his family, and enjoyed spending time outdoors. He looked forward to coffee with his brother and friends, and would help anyone who needed it.  He loved antique heavy equipment and collecting antique dozers.

 

Harold is survived by his wife, Roxanna Wells of Tumwater; daughters, Mellissa Hammond of Irvington, Kentucky, Tonya Bartlett of Rochester, Washington, Heidi Bailey of Newton, Alabama, and Jennifer Bush of Littlerock, Washington; 10 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brother, Ron Wells of Littlerock; sister, Joy Seed of Ellensburg, Washington; and also numerous nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his parents; and brother, Robert D. Wells.
