Obituary of Maureen Frances Turner

Maureen Frances (Flanagan) Turner, 70, passed away after a lengthy illness on March 7, 2020, at St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, Washington, near her home in South Bend.

 

Maureen was born February 24, 1950, in Braddock, Pennsylvania, to Patrick and Mary Flanagan.  She is survived by her husband and soulmate, William Turner; son, Mark Rini, and daughter-in-law, Shannon Rini; sisters, Sharon Flanagan, Kathy Cuevas, and Coleen Flanagan; brother, Michael Flanagan; as well as many adored nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Patrick S. Flanagan, Johnny Flanagan, and Jimmy Flanagan.

 

Maureen was a resident of Santa Fe Springs, California; Whittier, California; Ft. Mohave, Arizona; and finally South Bend, Washington.  She was very proud of her Irish heritage and loved her family more than words can describe.  She also was an avid baker and ran a successful craft business for many years.
