Obituary of Bobby Glenn Hicks

Bobby Glenn Hicks passed away December 25, 2019 in Olympia, Washington. He was born June 25, 1983 to Garry Hicks Jr. and Dianne Hicks in Olympia.  He was a lifelong resident of the Nisqually Indian Community.

Bobby was a PE teacher for the Wah He Lut Elementary School, and a commercial geoduck harvester. He also was a PIMA-certified neonatal respiratory therapist through Bates College, a certified EMT, and certified SSA.

Bobby was a physical fitness enthusiast.  He loved working out with his boys, as well as reading with them and doing art projects together.  He also enjoyed motivational speaking to the youth, and was fluent in sign language.

He is survived by his sons, Kal Radar Discipline Hicks and Logan Wolverine Hicks; parents; brothers, Garry Hicks III and Larry Hicks; and sister, Andrea LaPointe.  His grandparents, Garry Hicks Sr. and Doris Hicks, predeceased him.

Services will be held Friday, January 3, 2020, 10:00 a.m. at the Billy Frank Jr. gym, 4826 She Nah Num Dr. SE, Olympia,
