Obituary of Charlotte Marie Keesler

Former Olympia/Lacey resident Charlotte Marie (Parshall) Keesler left this world peacefully on June 30, 2019, in Olympia, Washington. She was 90 years old.

Charlotte was born October 19, 1928 to Elmer and Lillian “Lilly Bell” Parshall in Cleveland, Missouri. She was the second of six children. The family moved to Olympia, Washington around 1935.

Charlotte married William Edward “Bill” Keesler on April 26, 1952 in Olympia.

Charlotte and Bill moved around a lot in the Olympia/Lacey area. In 1968, they moved to Hoquiam/Aberdeen, Washington, then to Astoria, Oregon in 1999, where Bill died in 2006, and Charlotte moved back to the Olympia area.

Charlotte had three sons, John, Bill and Larry; and two daughters, Neva Chaplin and Ginny Erwin; and many grand, great and great-great grandchildren.

Some of Charlotte's hobbies were collecting rocks/agates, making jewelry and fishing for sturgeon, which she could catch when no one else could and she let you know it.

Charlotte was predeceased by her parents, Elmer and Lillian Parshall; husband, Bill Keesler; son, William Henry “Bill” Keesler; and her brothers, Elmer (Sonny) Parshall, Jr. and Tom Parshall; and sister, Leola Womack.

Enjoy your new adventure mom!
