Obituary of Victoria K. Scholzen

Victoria K. Scholzen, 82, passed away September 1, 2019 at The Cottages in Lacey, Washington, after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease.  She was born August 29, 1937 to Donald Bullock and Chris Irwin in Centralia, Washington. She graduated from Auburn High School in 1955.

 

Victoria retired from Boeing in 1992, after 30 years of employment.  She was a longtime resident of Shelton and Harstine Island. She enjoyed quilting and was a member of the Christmas Town Quilters in Shelton.  She also loved to garden.  She was a former member of the Shelton Methodist Church.

 

Victoria is survived by her children, Howard Scholzen of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, Sheila Pierce (partner, Ben Kamm) of Minot, North Dakota, and Kim Knutzen (husband, David) of Olympia, Washington; grandchildren, Ethan Scholzen, Sean Pierce (wife, Aubrey), Kaitlin Pierce, Brian Pierce (wife, Jessica Pierce), Carole Reynolds (husband, David), and Robert Knutzen; great grandchildren, Atlas Pierce and Magnolia Reynolds; and sister, Kristi Cholski.  She was predeceased by her husband of 17 years, Gary Scholzen; her parents; and her sister, Carole Lee.
