Obituary of Cindy Jean Beauchene

Cindy Jean Brown Beauchene passed away August 26, 2019 in Olympia, Washington, where she was born January 22, 1957 to James G. and Helen G. Brown. 

A lifelong Tumwater, Washington resident, Cindy earned an Associate Degree in Lab Technology.  She worked as a lab tech at Olympia’s Providence St. Peter Hospital, and also worked for Washington Labor and Industries. She was a member of the Tumwater City Council and First Christian Church of Olympia.

Cindy loved travel, taking many trips to South America; old movies; going out to eat; and spending time with her grandchildren. She also loved word search puzzles.

She is survived by her son, JR (Shaley) Beauchene; daughters, April Lakey and Courtney (Omar) Beauchene; grandchildren, Tyler Erin, Taelynn Grace, and Connor Jack James; brothers, Jim (Cindy) Brown, John (Michelle) Brown, and Jeff (Lori) Brown; and sisters, Bonnie (Paul) Workland and Anne-Marie Brown.  She was predeceased by her parents; and nephew, Evan J. Smith.

Services will be held Sunday, September 15, 2019, 2:00 p.m. at South Sound Manor, 455 North St. SE, Tumwater, WA 98501.
