I first met Crystal when our family began attending East Hills Alliance Church. Crystal always had a warm smile and a gentle way about her. I have saved some of the many notes she left for me...little encouragments and words of appreciation. They were often about something I had played on the piano for an offertory at church, and she would remark about how much she liked hearing a particular familiar song. Her kind words and beautiful handwriting were always so welcome and appreciated. I imagine her now surrounded by beautiful music, maybe singing along to "and He walks with me, and He talks with me, and He tells me I am His own; and the joy we share as we tarry there none other has ever known."
Crystal was such a blessing to me when I was just starting out as a young Momma. Knowing I didn’t yet have a driver’s license, she picked me up weekly for a ladies Bible study. She always had a ready smile and kindness on her lips.
