Obituary of Judy Faye Worthy

Judy Faye Worthy, age 74, loving mother and grandmother, passed away at her daughter’s home in Tumwater, Wash., on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at 10:24 p.m., surrounded by her family.  She had survived her breast cancer a few years ago, but had battled stomach, intestinal and pancreatic cancers.

 

Judy was born to Bud Aston McIntosh and Fairy Lee Dare on December 15, 1944 in Johnston City, Illinois.  She is formerly from Shelton, Wash. She graduated from Johnson City High School in 1963.  She served in the U.S. Army from 1964 to 1969.  She was a wonderful housewife and mother.  She loved reading, cooking, traveling and sightseeing. 

 

Judy is survived by her ex-husband, Clarence Edward Worthy of Lacey, Wash.; son, William Edward Worthy of Nampa, Idaho; daughters, Teresa Ann Worthy Hurt of Tumwater and Kristie Sue Worthy of Vancouver, Wash.; grandchildren, William Edward Worthy Jr. of Shelton, Wash., Raymond Dan Rowland Jr. of Lacey, Astin Dewain Rowland of Puyallup, Wash., Nani Lee Ann Hurt of Tumwater, Makayla Ashley Hurt of Tumwater; great granddaughter, Delilah May Worthy of Shelton; and her brother, Thomas Alonzo McIntosh of Sparta, Illinois.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Bud and Fairy McIntosh; and siblings, Sue Westray and Richard McIntosh.
