Obituary of Warren Eugene Brown Jr.

Warren Eugene “Gene” Brown Jr., 77, passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2019. Gene was born in Olympia, Washington in 1941. He grew up on the family farm on Mud Bay, then later moved to Elma. He graduated from Elma High School and joined the U.S. Navy.  After returning home, Gene worked in the woods with his father and at the cedar shake mill. He lived in Elma for the rest of his life. 

He is survived by three of his nieces and nephews and their families. His sister, Donna Walker Lewis, and his parents, Warren and Vera Brown, preceded him in death.

Gene will be buried at the Masonic Cemetery in Elma next to his parents. Donations in his memory may be made to Northwest Life Center in Elma, where he found friends and support in his later years.
