Obituary of Janell Kathleen Stewart
Janell Kathleen Stewart died of cancer on January 3, 2019 in Seattle, Washington, where she was also born. She had lived in Olympia, Washington, the last nine years.
When she was 17, Janell spent a year in Japan as an exchange student. She graduated from the University of Washington in 2000 and earned her law degree (cum laude) in 2003. Janell worked as an attorney for the State of Washington. She was held in high esteem by colleagues, and adored by friends and relatives.
She loved her Can-Am Spyder three-wheeled motorcycle, and traveling and cruising to places such as Hawaii, Alaska, the Mediterranean, and Europe.
Janell is survived by her mother, Lorna Stewart of Olympia; and brothers, Jeffrey Stewart of Renton, Washington, and Bryan Stewart of Seattle. She was predeceased by her father, John Stewart; and brother, Darrell Stewart.
