Obituary of Audrey O. Agledal

Audrey O. Agledal, a long-time resident of Lake Meridian in Kent, Washington, was born to Louis and Laura Aglendal of Kent on April 1, 1932, and died on November 26, 2018.  Audrey graduated from Kent Meridian High School in 1950 and attended Washington State College in Pullman, Washington, before she began working at Boeing and later as a flight attendant for many years with United Airlines.  Traveling for both her job and pleasure took Audrey to many places in the world.  One of her favorites was Norway, where her Norweigan roots ran deep.

Audrey was an accomplished artist, oil painting for many years.  She enjoyed attending plays and museums with friends.  Audrey was always a generous and gracious hostess as she spent time and holidays welcoming family and friends to her Greenwater mountain cabin and her lakefront home on Lake Meridian.  She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Kent, and Alpha Delti Pi Sorority at WSC.

Audrey is survived by her sister, Vivian Anderson of Kent; her brother, Alan Agledal (Deena) of Auburn, Washington; and a beautiful family of nieces and nephews who loved their Aunt Audrey deeply.
