Obituary of Lilia Asenas Arnado

Lilia Asenas Arnado, 67, passed away November 21, 2018 in Lacey, Washington. She was born on May 27, 1951 to Eugenia B. Parol and Guadencio K. Asenas in Siaton Negros Oriental, Philippines.  She was a sweet and loving person, hard worker, and dedicated. She highly valued a good education. She always said, “Study hard now for a better future. A good education is the only wealth I could give while I’m still here.” She loved gardening, cooking, video chatting and watching her Tagalog telenovela shows.

 

Lilia is survived by her son, Anthony Arnado; daughters, Angela Rivera and Lolita Navarro; seven grandchildren, Denzell, Darell, Jhon Telthony, Tephany, Diether, Destiny and Skye; brother, Loreto Asenas; and sisters, Rosie, Petronila, Dolly, Josie, and Shirley.

 

Her ashes will be in Manila, Philippines on November 29 and 30, for families and relatives who want to offer prayers and last words. It will then be moved to St. Peter’s Chapel in Siaton, Negros Oriental for the novena/prayers from December 1 to December 6. Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. on December 7, 2018, followed by funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at Siaton Cemetery, Negros Oriental, Philippines.

 

Private family gathering or reception will be held at Sumaliring beach, Siaton, Negros Oriental Philippines on December 8, 2018.
