Obituary of Adam Mowlds

Adam Mowlds passed away December 19, 2018 in Olympia, Washington, his home of 24 years.  He was born January 19, 1942 to Richard and Helen (Lambie) Mowlds.

Adam graduated from Hoquiam High School in 1960, and served in the U.S. Air Force from 1960 to 1964.  He married Judy Erickson on June 17, 1961 in Hoquiam.  Professionally, he was a machinist and retired from Crown Cork and Seal in 2001.

Adam was strong-willed and detail-oriented. He loved golf, clam digging, and water skiing. He especially loved spending time with his grandkids.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Mowlds of Olympia; son, Rick Mowlds (Cathy) of Olympia; daughter, Susan Lavoy of Longview, Washington; grandkids, Chase, Kyle, Courtney and Bryce.  He was predeceased by his parents; and brother, Dick Mowlds.

A celebration of his life will be held at his family home on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.  Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
